Driven by dreams and a yearning to experience the world, it seems this amazing couple was destined to collide just 4 years before they became husband and wife. They are a perfect mix of mid-western Michigan savvy and So-Cal style and one thing is for sure, these two can not get enough of one another no matter what state they happen to be in. And as fate would have it, on a February evening Nick got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life on the rooftop terrace of the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts and “she said yes”. They immediately wanted to bring their family and friends to Jen’s hometown, San Diego and chose the The Dana on Mission Bay for their wedding day celebration. Guest traveled from Michigan (go Green), Washington DC, Texas, Mexico, Northern California and beyond to witness their wedding day. Their day was just as amazing as their story. The November weather was simply perfect, Jen kept commenting, it feels like summer. The bride and groom’s suites were buzzing with excitement, especially the grooms room, as they watched their hometown Spartans the Ohio State Buckeyes. Nick quickly gathered himself to see his future bride and share their special gifts together. After an emotional first look, these two were surrounded by their wedding party and family as they said their I Do’s on the Marina Garden lawn with a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Jen’s brother. Their reception followed at the Mission Bay Ballroom with special cookies for their guests representing the great state of Texas, the state they met in. The couple enjoyed touching speeches, dances with their parents, a special sweet treat of Churros for their guests and of course, a ton of dancing! We will let the photos share their wedding day story, congrats to this amazing couple!
