Who doesn’t love a great romance story and these two are no exception. Already friends from Chicago finding themselves both on the west coast in San Diego, they kept in touch and eventually, their friendship grew into an undeniable love. You could see it from the very moment the two of them first made eye contact as Ellie was escorted down the aisle. Before these two lovebirds said their official “I Do’s” we started their day at the US Grant, joining in on all the getting ready activity. Ellie’s dress was absolutely beautiful with elegant lace complimented by her custom made veil. Her jewelry included family heirlooms from her grandparents and earrings that the groom had designed for the bride. Ellie was absolute bridal from head to toe and the handsome groom looked sharp and classic with his black suit and traditional bow tie. The bride and groom were each escorted by Old Town Trolley to Balboa Park for fun bridesmaids and groomsmen photos. A little luck for a wedding day is a little rain, which ended just in time for their outdoor ceremony on the El Cortez patio. After they were officially Mr and Mrs, the bride surprised the groom with a Mariachi Band who entertained the guests as their celebration unfolded. These two were inseparable the rest of the night, and outside of a few tears during toasts, these two were non-stop smiles as they celebrated with their closest friends and family and everyone danced the night away as the Tijuana Dogs filled up the dance floor. We will let the photos do the talking from here – enjoy and congrats again Mr. and Mrs. H!
