We connected with Kristina and Ryan first at her brother’s wedding in 2016 and we were beyond excited when they reached out to us to document their summer wedding day! This amazing couple started out as co-workers first and it didn’t take long for the two of them to realize they had so much in common, sports, travel, hiking and of course, family. And they couldn’t wait to bring all of their family from coast to coast to La Jolla to celebrate the start of their new journey as a married couple. Our day started at a private residence overlooking the ocean and La Jolla, the house was a buzz with energy and as soon as these two transformed into a bride and a groom, they absolutely were beaming to see one another for their first look. Now spending their entire day side by side, their entourage joined them for a trolley ride to the cliffs in La Jolla, it was absolutely gorgeous, a perfect So Cal Day. After some fun and romantic photos by the water, we all made our way to their venue for their ceremony and reception, La Jolla Woman’s Club. Their ceremony was held in the lawn with touching yet funny vows from each of them and after they were officially announced husband and wife by Kristina’s uncle, it was time to celebrate! After some cocktails, a special slideshow and toasts, it was time to hit the dance floor, and that’s another thing these two have in common, is dancing! Their day was everything they had imagined and it was such an honor to document every dreamy moment!
