I just returned from a summer trip to my home state, Indiana, after photographing an engagement session for this amazing #sutographycouple. Morgan (the beautiful #bride) and I have known each other for quite a few years, I even did her high school senior portraits! And I was ecstatic when I heard the news that she was engaged to Alex over the holidays last year. The proposal was a whirlwind, Alex keeping her on her toes while they did an all day scavenger hunt, ending with their families awaiting the big moment. Morgan texted me that same night to tell me the news! And I have been waiting all year to go back home and shoot in the lush trees and greenery… not to mention we even got a perfect summer mid-west day with hardly any humidity! We ventured around the property that will also be their reception venue. It’s absolutely gorgeous #reckmanfarms didn’t miss a beat with their rustic barn and venue, I literally can’t wait to go back for their wedding day this fall in October with all the changing leaves. It was a dream engagement session!
