Rosemarie and Jonathan’s Wedding Day

Jonathan and Rosemarie’s wedding day began at Paradise Point Resort with heavy rain and lightening, a rare sight in sunny San Diego; but despite the weather, Rosemarie was the very definition of grace and composure. Her face was glowing and she was all smiles as she and her Bridesmaids got glammed up for her big day. It was time for her to change into her dress, complete with a cathedral train and veil, fitting for a church ceremony at the historical Immaculata. She was officially a Bride. Her maid of honor then delivered a gift from Jonathan; “he remembered!” she said when she opened the box and found a rose gold bracelet with her name engraved. Next, we went to visit Jonathan who was relaxing with his Groomsmen. The men were joking around and showing of their matching socks and sunglasses, a gift from Jonathan. It was time for the Groom to open his gift from his Bride, a new hat and sweatshirt from his favorite football team. Jonathan could hardly contain his excitement, and couldn’t resist trying on his new hat.  With the Bride and Groom dressed to the nines, it was now time to get them married! We made our way to the Immaculata on the USD campus, where Rosemarie’s mother and father walked her down the aisle. After their traditional Catholic ceremony, Rosemarie and Jonathan were pronounced husband and wife, and took their first steps as newlyweds to be congratulated by their friends and family. The sun finally came out just in time for portraits with their family and wedding party around the lush grounds of USD’s campus. The Newlyweds were then picked up by a white vintage Bentley, complete with a champagne toast, to their reception back at Paradise Point.  When all their guests were seated, the wedding party made their entrance to a crowd bursting with energy, they were ready to party! After some words from Rosemarie and Jonathan and a choreographed first dance to surprise the guests, everyone settled in for dinner. Dinner included special performances by dancers and singers and even Jonathan joined in on the fun, accompanying the dancers and the musicians for a few numbers. Parent dances followed, filled with lots of joy and laughter.  Please enjoy their photos and highlight video.
